A quality Long Fireman's Dress Bayonet purchased through distributor H&P K. The plated, 9 ¾ inch long, single edged, fullered blade on this one looks beautiful! It retains a nice bright mirror like finish! The stamped distributor mark is beautifully executed! The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a sharp point! The plating gives it a wonderful mirror like finish! The blade rates a solid NM! The leather buffer pad is lost to time. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard retains 96%+ paint coverage with some age spidering and scratches. It remains completely dent free! The nickel-silver plated hilt looks good, 98%+ plating coverage. The black bakelite diamond grip plates that are perfectly fit and are secured by two solid plated rivets.
