A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/66 1941 (Carl Eickhorn of Solingen). The blade on this one has some age stain. The dark and crisp acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/66 1941” maker mark are beautifully executed! The crossgrain wonderfully shines against the light, running the full length of the blade! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates Exc+. It shows the spotting and surface scratches. The scabbard is steel based and brown painted. It shows the worse being where the hanger clip rubbed to the center obverse. It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 97%+ paint coverage! The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings are in excellent condition, retaining 99%+ plating coverage. The ball is perfect. All four screws are tightly secured! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect. The crossguards are zinc based and nickel-silver plated. They show minor age bubbling throughout. The brown chip and crack-free hardwood grip looks good. The solid aluminum eagle is nicely detailed. The SA roundel is retains 99%+ of its enamel and has a perfect fit! Included is an OLCRZM marked short hanger. The leather is dry but shill looks good. A nice example from the Vet's family.
