2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger - Full Rig

A solid dagger with all the accouterments direct from Germany, never been in a collection! The entire this is nicely nicotine patinaed. The Unmarked blade on this one is fine. The crossgrain remains visible as you turn it in the light. Just a bit of age. The original leather pebbled buffer pad remains intact. The dent-free steel based, "airplane gray" plated scabbard looks great! It depicts awesome details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. The retaining screw is unturned. The burnished aluminum Luftwaffe eagle crossguard has good detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side engraved oak leaves and acorns. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with the proudly displayed swastika, oak leaves and acorns! The burnt-orange colored trylon grip is chip and crack-free being darker to the obverse. The brass double-twist wire wrap remains tightly intact. The portepee has frays and period "swing" wear. The deluxe hangers clips remain in working condition. They have some frays again from period wear. A nice complete set that all came in together at a reasonable price.
