Here we have an early first pattern NSDAP Women's Welfare Organization Membership Pin (Nat. Soz. Frauenschaft Mitgliedsabzeichen)! It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been gold gilded and contains white, black and red enamel work. The downward pointing triangular shaped obverse depicts a white Christian cross that has a red static swastika to the center of it, along with "G", "H" and "L" in Gothic style letters to the left, right and lower arms. These Gothic letters signify the Frauenschaft motto, "Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe" (Faith, Hope, Love). This is above a black base and is below "N. S. FRAUENSCH." (NSDAP Women's League), which is on a white base. The full back reverse is marked "RZM 63". The soldered oval tombak plate pin is in well working condition. The pin measures approximately 26mm wide. This is the smaller version. The enamel work remains 100%+ intact! Overall it's a great example, especially to see an early one!
