Gerb Heller Ground Rohm SA Dagger

A rare and model 1934 - Sturmabteilung Ehrendolch mit Widmung by Gebrüder Heller of Schmalkalden. The blade on this one is an obvious ground Rohm and rates in at VG. The blade has been retipped measuring 7mm short. The entire "In herzlicher freundshaft, Ernst Rohm" Rohm motto is gone but most of the Heller logo remains. It's located exactly where it should be right next to the crossguard in the small circle format. The fit is perfect, the tip looks blunted and the dark acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto is beautifully executed! The blade has age and stain. The brown period repainted dent-free scabbard is worn with chipping and age throughout. The solid nickel fittings remain nice and bright! The ball is perfect and all of the screws remain intact! The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect! The bright solid nickel crossguards look awesome! The reverse of the lower crossguard is stamped "He" (Hessen). The crossguard / grip fits are near perfect as well. The brown hardwood grip has a few bumps and scratches from normal period wear, it continues to look great! The solid nickel eagle has excellent detail and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and also has a perfect fit.
