A Model 1933 Sturmabteilung Dienstdolch by RZM M7/37 - Robert Klaas of Solingen-Ohligs. The blade on this one is gorgeous! The dark acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and “RZM M7/37” maker mark are dark, crisp and beautifully executed! The crossgrain wonderfully shines in the light, running the full length of the blade! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates an easy Mint-. It shows a few tiny age dots and the typical runner marks. The scabbard is steel based and brown painted. It shows surface scratches and you can see the black base coat. It continues to remain completely dent free and retains 98%+ paint coverage! The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard fittings are in excellent condition, retaining 99%+ plating coverage. The ball remains perfectly round and all four screws are tightly secured! The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect. The crossguards are zinc based and nickel-silver plated. They show minor age bubbling. The brown hardwood grip looks excellent as well! It has the typical pressure marks but no cracks or chips. The nickel-silver eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel is retains 99%+ of its enamel and also has a perfect fit! A very nice RZM from a Vet's family, never been apart or in a collection.
