Here's a nice looking early DJ Membership Pin! It is constructed out of a die struck tombak base that has been silver washed and contains black and red enamel work. The obverse features a centrally placed silvered sig rune above a circular red pebbled backing, which then lies in front of a silvered stagnant swastika with elongated arms (which touch the edges) and reads, in silver, "D" (Deutsches - left) "J"(Jungvolk - right) and all lies on a black backing. The reverse has been silver washed and is marked "Ges. Gesch." and shows a soldered on round plate, that is also marked "Ges. Gesch.", that hold a well working tombak pin. The silver wash remains 15%+ intact and the enamel work shows minor flaws yet remains 98%+ intact! It measures approximately 13/16 of an inch in diameter. A solid early well worn example!
