Auszeichnung der NSDAP - Nürnberger Parteitagsabzeichen 1929 by RZM 15 - Ferdinand Hoffstätter of Bonn am Rhein. This badge was to commemorate the fourth Nazi Party Rally (Day of Composure) and was worn as an honor badge by its attendants, it was given award status on November 6th 1936. It is constructed out of a die stamped steel base that has been silver washed. The shield shaped obverse features, from top to bottom, the city and castle of Nuremburg, a bordered “Nürnberg”, an eagle (clutching a wreathed static swastika) on top of a M16 style helmet, flanked by “1914” (left) and “1919 N.S.D.A.P.” (right) which is all above “Parteitag 1929”. The hollow back reverse is maker marked "RZM 15" (Ferdinand Hoffstätter, Bonn/Rhein). It also has a soldered on round plate that holds a horizontally placed pin assembly that remains in well working condition. It measures approximately 1 7/8 inches tall by 13/16 of an inch wide. Wonderful detail and patina!
