The highly coveted 'SS Family Book,' 'Die Gestaltung der Feste im Jahres=und Lebenslauf in der SS=Familie.' Published by SS-Obergruppenführer Weitzel. One of the best condition examples I’ve seen, a near mint condition copy of SS-Obergruppenführer Fritz Weitzel’s book “Die Gestaltung der Feste im Jahres=und Lebenslauf in der SS=Familie”. The book for the SS-Mann and his family which explains the meaning and significance as well as how to conduct the celebrations of various holidays important in the SS family. These include Julfest, New Year, Easter, May Day, Summer Solstice, Harvest Day, Name-Giving, Acceptance of the Child into the Jungvolk or Jungmädel, Acceptance of the Child into the Hitler Youth or Federation of German Girls, Marriage including acceptance of the bride into the SS Clan and finally, Funerals. The book also gives explanation to Germanic runes as well as songs for the festivities. It also includes excellent photographs of the wheel-cross, Jul-teller, the Julleuchter, the Jul-ecke with Sippentruhe, and the birthday ring. Signed
