A M1938 - 2nd Model Kriegsmarine Dolch für Offiziere by Eickhorn. Here's a fine looking period upgraded example! The fouled anchor etched blade on this one looks is a bit faded. The details throughout are nicely displayed with a bit of age. The "Original Eickhorn Solingen" over-the-shoulder maker mark is beautifully executed! The blade rates an Exc+. The tan leather buffer pad remains intact. The brass based, gold gilded, choice upgraded dent-free hammered scabbard is in supperior condition! The throat retaining screws remain intact. The brass based hilt and pommel look great! The center-placed scabbard release button remains in fine working condition. The proud eagle is beautifully detailed! The white celluloid, wood based grip looks great! It is crack-free. The double twisted wire wrap remains tightly intact! A nice piece with some great features!
