A beautiful 100 x 170 ReichsKriegsFlagge by Lorenz Summa Söhne of Oberkotzau. A desirable size. It is constructed out of a red, white and black printed cotton base. The obverse depicts and off centered black mobile swastika on a white roundel with four black/white strips running through it and a black pattee style cross to the top-hoist corner. The reverse depicts a mirror image of the obverse. The hoist end has a stitched on, white cotton re-enforcing edge that has a rope running though the length of it which is looped to each side. It also has red rectangular re-enforcement pieces to the corners. The edge is marked in black ink and reads: “Kr.Fl. 100 X 170” (Kriegs (War) Flag & the size) along with the manufacturers mark and location: “Lorenz Summa Söhne Oberkotzau”. The fly end has been folded over and stitched together. This piece is in good condition and is nicely marked. Beautiful condition with some very small holes, I have show the worse of. This is minor age and stain.
