A Model 1938 Deutschen Rotes Kreuz (DRK) Führer Dolch. The bright blade on this one is has been cleaned and has a beautifully shining plated ricasso. It retains a nice and tight fit and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates an easy Exc+/Exc++. It shows the slightest spots and is a bit shiny. The original black leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard looks excellent as well. It remains dent-free and retains 98%+ of its plating. Both throat retaining screws remain intact. The zinc based, nickel-silver plated crossguard is in nice condition with the medallion displaying fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The pommel screw cap has been turned at some point but is not all chewed up. The orange dual toned trylon grip is has a chip to the lower obverse and a hairline to the top. This is covered with a portepee. This one comes with a nice original portepee.
