Hitler-Jugend Koppelschloß by RZM M4/24 - Friedrich Linden of Lüdenscheid. Introduced in 1936. It is constructed out of a single piece of die struck steel that has been silver painted. The obverse roundel depicts a closed winged HJ eagle clutching an HJ diamond within its talons on a pebbled round background. Above the eagle is the Hitler Youth motto reading: “Blut und Ehre” (Blood and Honor). This is then encircled by detailed lines which are enclosed by two twisted ropes and all lies on the smooth rectangular background. The reverse is maker marked “RZM M4/24” (Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid). It also shows a soldered on nickel-alloy catch and plated steel pin/post sleeve and prongs. It shows minor spotting wear. The details to the eagle, motto and roundel are superb! The buckle measures 2 7/16 inch wide by 1 7/8 inches high. A nice one!
