A very nice example textbook of a 2nd Model Luftwaffe Dagger by E. Pack! The plated blade on this one looks good! The "Siegfried Waffen Ernst Pack & Sohne MBH Waffenfabrik Solingen" maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed! It holds a nice and bright mirror like finish with it! There is a very slight bend to the tip. The blade on this one would be a mint without this. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard looks excellent! It depicts awesome details throughout, with the random pebbling, oak leaves and acorns. It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remains intact! The burnished aluminum eagle crossguard, steel ferrule and pommel all look awesome! The eagle has amazing detail to its head, feathers, wings and top side oak leaves and acorns. The pommel is beautifully hand enhanced (with that unique E. Pack specific feature, dotted swas. backgound)! Just beautiful! The early celluloid over plaster grip is chip and crack-free. The grip is in near perfect shape! The aluminum springy wire wrap remains tightly intact. Included is the original but frayed portepee. There is smoke patina all over this. This is exactly how it came in from the Vet's family last week!!
