A Minty - Model 1935 Wehrmacht Heer Dolch für Offiziere by WKC of Solingen. The blade on this one is gorgeous! The acid etched Knights Head “WKC Solingen” maker mark is dark, crisp and beautifully executed. The crossgrain is perfect. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point! The blade rates Mint-. The large brown leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel silver plated scabbard provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and hand enhanced oak leaf and acorn bands! It remains completely dent free and still holds some factory lacquer. The original throat retaining screw remains intact. The nickel silver plated tomahawk wkc eagle crossguard provides beautiful details throughout the eagle’s head, wings, wreath, beak and chest. The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with proud oak leaves and acorns throughout. All matching WKC components. The sun toned orange trylon grip is in wonderful condition! You can tell a portepee was on here and an officer wore this at some point. An excellent example…
