It is constructed out of stamped steel that has been chemically burnished. The obverse features something similar to a 1914 1st Class Iron Cross with wreath. The two felt inserts were added recently, one outlines a 2nd Class Iron Cross and ribbon bar. It measures 4 inches wide by 5 ½ inches long by 1 inch thick. A unique piece!
