Eichenlaub zum Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes 1957 by Steinhauer & Lück. The Oakleaves to the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross 1939 was instituted September 28th 1941. This is a semi-hollowback example that is die struck with polished highlights. it is maker marked with a "o" for S&L. These awards were issued by the Federal Republic of Germany in 1957 for Veterans wear (as WWII awards were not allowed for wear) and awarded only to the German Veterans entitled to such awards during the War
