A Model 1933 Hitlerjugend Fahrtenmesser by RZM M7/13 - Arthur Schüttelhofer & Co. of Solingen. The ricassoed blade on this one looks good. The stamped “RZM M7/13” maker mark is nicely executed. The fit remains nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfect point. The blade rates Ex+. It shows age grey/spotting and surface scratches throughout. The original black leather buffer pad is remains intact. The steel based black enamel painted scabbard looks great. It retains 90%+ paint coverage and remains completely dent free! The folded black leather strap is in good condition. It retains all of its rivets and the snap continues to work well! The zinc based nickel-silver plated hilt retains 85%+ of its plated finish. The black bakelite checkered grip plates are epoxy repaired and are secured by two steel rivets. The HJ diamond is excellent retaining 99% of its enamel! Directly purchased from the Veterans family.
