“Nazi” - Kirtag Meeting Badge 1932

An Early NSDAP Meeting Badge 1932. This may be the only badge known to have used the term “Nazi”. Grafenwörth is a municipality in the district of Tulln in the Austrian state of Lower Austria, population in 1932 about 3,000. It is constructed out of a die stamped tombak base that has been bronze washed and burnished. The rectangular shaped obverse features a National Eagle with the script: “NSDAP 4. IX. 1932 Nazi Kirtag der Ortsgruppe Grafenwörth”. The hollow back reverse features a horizontally soldered on well working tombak pin assembly. It measures 1 3/16 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall. Rare!
