A good looking piece! The 7 3/4 inch long, single fuller, plated blade on this one looks great. The etched "E. Pack & Sohne Solingen" maker mark is beautifully executed. The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit is nice and tight! The blade rates Exc++. It shows the odd scuff and scratches throughout. The leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based black anodized scabbard looks good. It shows some minor wear, scratches and spotting yet it remains completely dent free! A throat retaining screw remains intact and the ball is perfectly round. The steel based, nickel-silver plated hilt looks good. The platting is all intact. The black checkered bakelite grip plates are crack and chip free but do show some rubs. Both plates are tightly secured to the hilt with the textbook unique Pack spanner/ nut assembly. The button continues to work well! A solid example.
