NSDAP/SS Armband

Early NSDAP/SS Kampfbinde/Armbinde. The official pattern armband was worn on the upper left sleeve of most all NSDAP uniforms as the identifying organizational insignia. It is constructed out of a wool/rayon multi-piece base. The obverse features a two-piece folded black rayon swastika, stitched to a white rayon roundel that is stitched to a red wool base. The top and bottom have been folded over and stitched together. The reverse has not been sewn together to size. It shows age wear/soil throughout as well as a couple wee moth holes. It measures 17.5 inches wide by 4 3/8 inches tall. We also see this exact same construction armband with SS/RZM tags for SS overcoats.
