Scarce Variation - Heer Großdeutschland Ärmelstreiffen. The Großdeutschland Division was an elite Panzer combat unit of the German Army. It is constructed out of black twill weave cotton base with machine embroidered white cotton/rayon and flatwire stitching. The rectangular shaped obverse reads “Großdeutschland” (fourth pattern script), in white on a black backing with two horizontal flatwire borders. It shows the odd thread catch and wear throughout. It measures 13 3/4 inches long by 1 9/16 inches tall. It comes with a COA from Detlev.
