Abzeichen für SA Wehr Wettkampftage 1939 der SA Gruppe Westfallen by RZM M9/67 - Overhoft & Cie of Lüdenscheid. It is constructed out of injection molded, white celluloid base with multi-colored paint work. The obverse features a white eagle clutching a horizontal gold broad sword within its talons, that is in front of a green oak leaf wreath, and is above a brown SA emblem surrounded by “SA Gruppe Westfallen” shield, a red Hannover Civil Flag horse shield, all above a bannered: “SA Wehr Wettkampftage 1939” (SA Military Competition Days 1939). The reverse is maker marked “RZM M9/67” and has a well working melted on round steel plate holding a horizontally placed pin assembly. It measures 1 7/8 inches wide by 1 5/8 inches tall. A nice SA badge.
