Here we have a WKC Model 1935 Army Dagger (Reichsheer Offiziersdolch)! You see that tomahawk head and you just know! The WKC marked blade on this one looks fine. You can see crossgrain throughout as you turn it it in the light! The tip comes to a perfect point and the fit remains nice and tight! The blade rates an NM. The steel based and silver washed dent-free scabbard is in great condition. It provides wonderful detail with the random pebbling and hand enhanced oak leaves and acorns bands. The single side throat retaining screw remains tightly intact. The zinc alloy based nickel-silver plated WKC "tomahawk" eagle crossguard provides crisp details throughout the head, wings, wreath and chest! The pommel and ferrule are also beautifully detailed with the proudly displayed oak leaves and acorns! The plaster based, celluloid covered grip looks wonderful. No cracks, chips or splits. A fine looking later production piece!
