A cool looing piece here! It is constructed out of a die stamped tombak base that has been silver washed and red enamel painted. The obverse features a man riding a horse plunging a spear into a wolf (or dragon?) on a red background, surrounded by: "Sichert den Sieg über Hunger und Kälte - Wir opfern!" (Secures the victory over hunger and cold - We sacrifice!). The reverse shows a silvered hollow back with a horizontally soldered on tombak pin that is in well working condition. Great silver wash and paint remain! It measures 1 ¼ inches in diameter. Nice!
