Early E. P. & S. (Pack) SA Dagger

Here's a nice SA by E. Pack the most common SA dagger maker of the period! The blade on this one looks great. The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfectly sharp point. The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "E.P. & S. Solingen" maker mark are beautifully executed! The blade rates a solid Exc+. It has age grey and spotting throughout. The scabbard has some oxidization wear, and it remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings are in good condition, with only a few bruises to the bottom fitting. The ball has the slightest bruise and still retains its original round shape! All four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is near perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Nrh" (Niederrhein). The grip / crossguard fits are excellent! The brown hardwood grip has a soft finish and looks awesome! There are a few bruises but no chips, cracks or splits! The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed with a perfect fit. The SA roundel also has a perfect fit and retains 10% of its enamel. Overall it's a great example by a common maker and one you can't go wrong on!
