Here’s a great example of a Gold Spanish Cross & Swords! This multi-piece, convex badge is made of bronze, has been die struck and gold washed. The obverse depicts a pebbled Maltese style cross, with Luftwaffe eagles to each corner. The cross has a centrally placed Swastika and is above two crossed broad swords. The reverse shows the correct pin hinge and catch. All of which are non-magnetic. The reverse is correctly stamped ?L/13” (Paul Meybauer). The badge shows some age toning. The gold gilding shines in the light and the detail to the sword handles and all four Luftwaffe eagles is stunning! What a nice piece of art!
