DRK Red Cross Brooch

Here's an excellent example of a DRK Samaritans Active Service Brooch! The pin depicts a red cross on a white circular backing, which is then all encircled by: "Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Helferin", (German Red Cross Helper), on a black backing. It is a die struck, alloy badge with multi-colored enamel work. The pin measures approximately 1 3/16 inchs wide and has a soldered well working pin, to the back. The back is marked "Ges. Gesch." and is maker marked "F.O.". The enamel work is excellent! One wee chip just above the "o" on Rotes. Overall this piece is really nice!
