A well-worn aged example here for the taking! The blade on this one rates Exc. The etched "Paul Weyersberg & Co. Solingen" maker mark remains looking good. Some crossgrain is still visible throughout the blade. The tip and fit remain in perfect condition! There is very heavy age grey/spotting throughout. The blue pebbled leather buffer pad remains intact. The hilt and scabbard fittings are nickel silver with a beautifully dark patinaed finish. 90% of the paint remains intact to the swastikas. The leather on the grip and scabbard are matching in color, grain and texture. The scabbard leather has started to split at the seam and I believe the grip leather is about to do the same. The scabbard features a near perfect ball and three of the four screws remain intact. The fourth screw looks to have been period replaced with a rivet. The throat quillion is correctly ?K? marked. The hanger remains in well-working condition with decent leather! Well it's not the prized piece of the bunch but it's at a price you can't afford to pass up!
