Unissued Railway/SS Bayonet Portepee

Here's a very rare mint example! It was identified as Railway or a SS VT bayonet troddel in Wheelers reference. The portepee consists of; a strap, round slide, wood based stem, crown and ball. The portepee is wood based and wrapped in beige/black thread. The bottom has a recessed hole that shows the strap going right through it. It's a rare beauty!
