Early NSKK Dagger by Gebrüder Heller

A Model 1933 - Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps Dienstdolchby Gebrüder Heller of Schmalkalden. The blade on this one looks fair. The acid etched “Alles für Deutschland” motto and anchor surrounded by “Gebrüder Heller Schmalkalden” maker mark are both look great being nice and dark with that textbook speckling. The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. Just some very minor age and dots of age. The sheet metal based black painted scabbard is in nice condition. It has been period repainted black in accordance with regulations issued in 1936. It remains dent free and holds 75%+ of its paint over the factory brown anodized finish. The solid nickel-silver scabbard fittings are in decent shape. They have some small hits and bumps. The ball retains relatively round profile. All four screws remain intact. The scabbard to crossguard fit is perfect. The crossguards are solid nickel-silver and look great. There is a "Mi", Mitte Gau stamp to the lower reverse. The brown hardwood grip looks good, with perfect fits. They is a wee flake to the upper left reverse guard fit and a wee hairline to the lower reverse guard. The solid nickel eagle looks great and has a perfect fit. The SA roundel has a perfect fit and retains 98%+ of its enamel. All matching patina.
