You’ve got to love these pieces! The bright blade on this one looks great! The crossgrain is stunning and runs all the way from the tip to the ricasso! The tip comes to a perfectly sharp point and the fit is nice and tight. The blade rates Exc++. There is some minor spotting throughout. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, nickel-silver plated scabbard looks excellent! It has the slightest bit of spotting and 99% of the plating remains intact! It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remain intact! The zinc based, nickel-silver plated crossguard and pommel are both in excellent condition matching the scabbard in color and condition! The medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The brass based, nickel-silver plated pommel screw cap is looks good. It shows typical usage wear. The orange/yellow trylon grip is in excellent condition! It shows the common spots throughout yet remains completely crack and chip free! This piece also comes with a post war red cross portepee at no extra charge! Overall this is a great piece! One to add to your collection!
