The interior reverse neck guard apron is serial number stamped, "542", and the interior left side apron is stamped with the manufacturers code and size, "Q64", indicating manufacture by F.W. This M40 SD RAD Helmet is a nice example of this iconic German combat helmet. The exterior shows scuffs, minor scratches and marks from handling and wear.
