Constructed out of a die stamped tombak base that has been gold gilded. The round shaped obverse depicts a man’s portrait/bust that has a hammer to the left and a sickle to the right. It is also above a German National eagle with outstretched wings clutching a wreathed swastika in its talons that is inside “1934” (19 left, 34 right). Above all this is “Tag Der Arbeit” (Day of Labor) along with a small “RK”. The reverse has a hollow back and a horizontally soldered, (and reattached) tombak pin. It is also maker marked. It shows wonderful patina measuring approximately 1 3/8 inches in diameter
