Canadian WWII DFC Group to Joseph Marcotte
Distinguished Flying Cross, GRI, 1945 engraved on reverse of 6 o’clock arm, with original case of issue, inside lid stamped ROYAL MINT; 1939 Star; France & Germany Star; Defense Medal; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with overseas clasp; War Medal 1939-45, all in good condition. Included in the group is a small metal name plate, The synopsis on the "DFC" mission in Sept. 1944, A copy of his certificate of service, Promotion to Pilot Officer document, and finally the tube in which these documents were received.
