Extraseitengewehr by Carl Eickhorn of Solingen. Here's a good example just in from an advanced collection. Blade is a plated example with no sharpening. It shows some scratches and the odd dot of age but that's it! The buffer is intact. Rates Exc++. It is correctly stamped with the early double Oval Eickhorn maker mark with "CE" under the squirrel. Scabbard has minor wear and crazing retaining 98% of paint and remaining dent-free. Perfect diamond grip plates are nicely fit without any damage and secured with unmessed with nickel rivets. No cracks or chips anywhere. The nickel plated hilt retains 98% of factory plating. A crazed frog remains.
