Extraseitengewehr by Robert Klaas of Solingen. A Nice etched example awaiting display in your collection! The obverse of the frosted etched blade, display an elegant “Legion Condor". This pattern is rarely seen. The etch has some age and plating loss. The blade rates an Exc+/Exc++ with age spotting. I have not tried to clean. There are minor surface scratches throughout. The buffer pad continues to remain intact. The dent-free steel black scabbard is in nice shape with some scratches and wear. The zinc hilt looks good! It has some minor plating loss yet continues to hold a nice and bright finish! The grip plates are perfect! They are tightly secured to the hilt with two aluminum rivets. The pommel has a well working button and felt plug. Finally this comes with a black crazed frog. Truly a beautiful etch that would fit nicely into your collection!
