Here's a very cool dagger for someone who appreciates something personalized! The blade on this one is Killer! The fit is nice and tight and the tip comes to a perfectly sharp point. The dark and crisp, acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and Herbeck & Meyer Solingen-Hohscheid maker mark are both beautifully executed! The blade rates a solid NM! The brown anodized scabbard has been period recovered with drown leather, I lover the hand stitching! The solid nickel scabbard fittings are in great condition! They match the crossguards in color and wear. The ball is near perfect, one screw is lost to time. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect as the dagger slides in with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards are in excellent condition. The reverse of the lower crossguard is Gau stamped "Wm". The grip / crossguard fits are excellent! The brown hardwood grip has a nice finish and looks awesome! There are a few bruises but no chips, cracks or splits! The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed. The SA roundel retains 100% of its enamel and has a perfect fit! This piece also comes with a homemade hanger that is marked on the clip as well as a period belt loop! Overall this piece is an excellent example and one you can't go wrong on!
