Deutsches Rotes Kreuz “Würzburg 1” Hoheitsabzeichen Armdreieck. January 1938 uniform regulations introduced the assignment location sleeve triangle for wear on the upper right sleeve of the service tunic and greatcoats of salaried DRK personnel. It is constructed out of a machine embroidered grey and white stitched thread to a grey rayon base. The triangular shaped obverse features a DRK eagle above “Würzburg 1”, with a thin lined border all in white on a grey background. The revere features three stitched on male snap pieces. It measures 4 1/8 inches wide by 2 inches tall. A great piece!
