Just a wonderful example here! The bright blade on this one looks beautiful! The crossgrain is stunning and runs all the way from the tip to the ricasso! The fit is nice and tight. There is some age gray. The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. The original leather buffer pad remains intact. The steel based, silver plated scabbard looks excellent sporting the correct round scabbard band holes attributed to the Social Welfare organization. It is about as good as it gets. With 99% of the plating intact! It remains completely dent free and both throat retaining screws remain intact! The zinc based, silver plated crossguard and pommel are both in super condition, with no plating loss! The medallion on the crossguard has fine vaulting to the swastika on the bird's chest and the cross in its talons. The brass pommel screw cap has been turned. The orange trylon grip is in super condition remaining chip and crack-free. This comes with a nice set of original SW hangers and portepee. Overall this is a wonderful piece with excellent features! One you will surely be proud to own!
