Reichspost Postal Visor Cap Cockade and Wreath. This a multi-piece multi-material construction. The round shaped obverse depicts a red cotton centerpiece, surrounded by a silver washed tombak based swirl piece and above a black painted pressed cardboard zig-zagged backing which is pinned to and surrounded by a silvered aluminum oak leaf and acorn wreath. The hollow back reverse holds all of its prongs. It measures 1 5/16 inches wide by 1 ¼ inches tall. A nice bright example for the right visor.
