Early Lazy man's Partial Rohm Boker SS Dagger

Here's a great piece by an excellent SS dagger maker: Boker! The blade on this one looks great! To the obverse is the acid etched Meine Ehre heisst Treue motto and it shows some faint "pimpling" we so often see on these Bokers (see Wittmann's SS reference pg 56). To the reverse we also have the Rohm inscription, with exception to the name: "In Cordial Friendship Ernst Rohm", along with the small double oval "B?ker Solingen" maker mark. The motto, inscription and maker mark are all dark, beautifully executed and have nice crisp edges! The tip looks perfect, as is the fit! There is some crossgraining still visible. The blade rates Exc+/Exc++. There are surface scratches throughout, along with some minor spotting. The black anodized scabbard looks great with a nice matte and soft finish. It also remains completely dent free! The solid nickel scabbard fittings look great, matching the crossguards in color and wear. The ball has been hit in. All four screws remain intact. The scabbard / crossguard fit is perfect and closes with a snap! The solid nickel crossguards look great! The reverse of the lower crossguard is district stamped ?I" (Munich). The crossguards/grip fits are near perfect! The black hardwood grip looks good seems to have been waxed along the way. It has the common pressure marks throughout, one wee hairline crack and some minor flaking. As you know finding a flawless SS grip is really hard to come by. The solid nickel eagle is beautifully detailed! The SS roundel retains 100% of its enamel. This piece also comes with an early, well working SA hanger! A great partial Rohm SS awaiting your collection!
