Aug. Küllenberg, Solingen-Gr.

The August Küllenberg, Stahlwarenfabrik, company began sometime prior to 1921. That year it registered its stylized "A" above an upturned "K" trademark. In the early 1920's and 1930's, Küllenberg was advertising the sale of "all types of fine cutlery, scissors, pocket knives, meat, bread, vegetable and other knives.". C. Küllenberg and G. Wirth were listed as the owner in the early 1920's. Küllenberg also specialized in hand forged silverware and fine cutlery in 1938/1940 when owned by Karl and Erich Küllenberg. During the Third Reich, Küllenberg made about 1,000 early era SA daggers, according to Fisher. Come 1935, Küllenberg did not receive an RZM license. In 1939, the company was located on Schulstrasse 25 in Solingen-Grafrath. By 1957, Küllenberg was making "household, professional, saw-bladed and kitchen knives". The company most likely ceased trading sometime in the 1960's.
