Curt Hoppe, Solingen
The Curt Hoppe, Besteckfabrik, began sometime prior to 1922, when it registered its trademark of: a star-shape figure on a ball holding a saber. Hoppe made stainless steel and chrome plated cutlery and flatware. Come the Third Reich era, Hoppe made SA daggers-Firsher estimtes 1,000. In 1935, Hoppe did not receive an RZM license. In 1939, the firm was recorded at Löhdorfer Straße 127 in Solingen-Ohligs-Aufderhöhe. It remains in business to this day, as a wholesaler, making "Homeware" products.
