The Emil Schrick, Sohn, Stahlwarenfabrik, company began sometime after WWI. In 1925 and 1931, E. Schrick was listed in the Deutsches Reichs-Adressbuch at Kamperstrasse 10 in Solingen-Wald. Come the Third Reich, early era SA daggers were made-Fisher estimates 1,000. In 1939, while owned by Karl Schrick, the company moved to Weyerstrasse 275 in Solingen-Weyer. It appears as though the company survived the war and changed its trademark to a triple-S: "SSS" (drei ess) in the 1970's. Come February 1981, Emil Schrick Sohn GmbH & Co. moved into the warehouse and offices of the former Homberg & Röhrig company on Neustrasse 24 in Leichlingen. The company then focused on: chromium, silver and gold-plated cutlery, table accessories, corkscrews and bottle openers. It is likely the company ceased trading.
