Eickelnberg & Mack, Solingen | RZM M7/90
The Eickelnberg & Mack, Stahlwarenfabrik, company began prior to 1920, when it registered its first "House Pierced by Arrow" trademark. The company was owned by Karl Eickelnberg and Hermann Mack. E&M specialized in manufacturing: scissors, tableware and fruit knives. During the Third Reich era, E&M manufactured early era SA/NSKK daggers (c.1933/34). In 1939, the firm was located on Beckmann Strasse 73. Likely some time that year, E&M received its RZM M7/90 code, yet it was withdrawn on November 27, 1940. I have not yet seen any blades marked with their RZM code. In 1942, the company moved to Graf-Haeseler-Strasse 7a. The company re-registered with the District Court of Wuppertal on February 27, 1989. It is probable that the company has ceased trading.
