The Eugen Scheidt, Stahlwarenfabrik, company began on January 21, 1920. It registered with the Solingen chamber of commerce on March 18, 1920. In 1922, Scheidt registered its stylized "ESO" tower. Come the Third Reich, early era SA daggers were made-Fisher estimates 1,000. In 1939, the company was located on Falkenstrasse 8 in Solingen-Ohligs. It is likely the company did not survive the war.
