G. Reinhold Grah, Solingen-Foche


The Gust. Reinhold Grah, Stahlwarenfabrik, company began prior to 1900. Grah registered with the Solingen chamber of commerce on October 18, 1901. Grah's trademark was a thimble and brand name: Fingerhut. Grah manufactured: cutlery, safety razors and pocket knives. In 1922, Reinhold placed an ad in Solingen und sein Industriebezirk listing their specialty in tableware kitchen knives sheers and razors. In 1939, the company was located in Solingen-Foche on Wuppertalerstrasse 61 (previously named Solingerstrasse in 1922). During the Third Reich, early era SA/NSKK daggers were manufactured. On June 14, 1954, the company moved to Remscheid. The company ceased trading in 1962.
