The Hermann Linder Söhne, Fabrik feiner Stahlwaren, company was founded in Grunewald come 1880. It registered in Solingen in January, 1920. That same year Linger registered two trademarks displaying: an anchor with three safety razor blades fanned on its stock, and another reading: SENTA. The company soon moved into Solingen on Burgstrasse 24. In the 1922 Solingen und sein Industriebezirk advertisement above, the company notes specializing in the manufacturing: "Table and dessert cutlery, carving sets, cake slicers, fruit knives and all types of pocket knives." Trade directories name the owners as Hermann and Wilhelm Linder in 1920-30 and Fritz Wegner in 1939. During the Third Reich era, Linder's (c.1935) catalog features the sale of: Hitler Youth knives, SA daggers, Dress bayonets and Fireman's bayonets. The catalog also offers: straight razors and blades and apparel well as a large offering of cutlery and specialty knives. The company was last located on Burgstrasse 52 in 1978 and likely closed soon after.
