The Henkel & Müller, Macero Fabrikations and Handelsgesellschaft, company began in the late 1920's early 1930's with Hermann Henkel and Willy Müller. The "Macero" trademark was registered by two separate companies in 1919 and 1923. It was likely purchased by Henkel & Müller in the 1930's. The company was listed as a wholesaler of cutlery and metalware. It sold straight razors, razors, pocket knives and cutlery. During the Third Reich, the company made around 2000 SA daggers. One SS dagger has been observed, though its authenticity is questioned. In 1935, Macero was located on Solingerstrasse 4 in Solingen-Ohligs. In 1939, the company was located on Nippesstrasse 12. It likely ceased trading after the war.
